Congratulations! You have completed the Victims of Mass
Hysteria webquest. As you have found, the destruction caused by mass
hysteria is not unique to The Crucible, and it is not just "something
that happened a long time ago that doesn't matter anymore." Mass
hysteria is still very much alive today and is still ruining the lives
of people more than 300 years after the tragedy in Salem. Do you
think our society will ever become immune to mass hysteria? Will
we ever have a scene like this in the United States again?...
