Groups
Students will be divided into groups of four, and I will use the
Jigsaw cooperative learning structure.
Computer Time
My classes will spend two class periods (ninety minutes each) in
the computer lab, or if it's not available, we'll use the computers in
the classroom. Each group would share one computer.
During the computer time, I will expect the students to complete
Parts 1 & 2 of the task. Part 3 will be completed in a combination
of classwork and homework. The due date for Part 3 will be one week from
the first computer time day.
Grading
Rubrics are included for each part of the webquest. Students
will earn an individual grade for Parts 1 & 3. They will earn
a group grade for Part 2, and Part 3's rubric also contains a group component.
